Board of Trustees Meeting

 Friday, May 20th, marked the last day for nominations, for our new Board of Trustees. We needed to have 5 Parent Representatives and this was achieved. We welcome Susan Foster, Maria Carlson, Melissa Smith, Sharon Watt and Sam Richmond onto the Board. I will be in contact in due course, to arrange a “get together†before our first official meeting as a Board, on Tuesday, June 21st.
 On that note, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the ‘departing Board’ who have supported us so well over the past 6 years plus. They have been excellent Governors of the School and fulfilled their duties admirably. To Christine Fisk, ex-Board Chair, thank you for being the Board leader and undertaking the Administration portfolio so diligently. There isn’t a word out of place in our Policy and Procedures manual; to Jo Richmond, our longest-serving Board member, thank you for continuing to be a very supportive part of our school community, even though your children had moved on to other schools; to Susan Foster for being our very able Finance person and “Keeper of the Budgetâ€, we welcome you back for another term; to Dave Skipper, our Property person, thank you for always turning up to do those difficult jobs that require ‘a man’s touch’ and for maintaining our School Pool so very well and lastly, to Bevan Garland, Health and Safety, for undertaking your responsibilities so conscientiously for the time you were co-opted onto the Board.
