Is your child feeling unwell?

 

There are lots of bugs around at the moment around our school and community, including COVID-19.

Please ensure your child stays at home if they are feeling sick, or have any cold/flu symptoms, including fevers or other infectious symptoms such as gastroenteritis (stomach bug).

Please refer to the link below for guidelines to help you determine when a child should stay home from school due to illness. These guidelines provide practical advice for a wide range of health concerns - including clear information for parents/caregivers supporting students with anxiety.

If your child is unwell, if you can please notify the school of the absence, that would be fabulous.

Vision 2026

A vision has been shared for Canvastown School 2026

·         promote and continue to develop a thriving and inclusive school

        support roll growth

After thorough discussions, careful consideration of community feedback, and a comprehensive review of our financial standing, the board has reached a unanimous decision that we believe will best serve our school community.

We are pleased to share that we will be opening a third learning space for our Year 7 and 8 cohort. This initiative supports the implementation of a three-phase classroom system for our junior, middle, and senior students starting next year.
